Areaware SSKMR Magno Model 2 Sustainable Table Radio - Electronic Alarm Clocks. The Magno Model 2 table radio is a unique combination of functionality, style, and sustainability. The radio features an AM/FM and 2 band shortwave radio with a line-out port for connecting an external audio source such as the iPod or any other MP3 player. The radio may be powered by four AA batteries (included) or a DC adapter (not included). The Magno is created by Singgih Kartono, an artist known for incorporating green-friendly practices into his designs and fabrication. Singgih manufactures products that are made from sustainable materials, socially beneficial, and an aesthetic complement to the home and office. His use of two-tone woods is not based on aesthetics alone. He chooses new growth wood due to its simplicity, organic vitality, and renewability. Additionally, he hires out-of-work farmers from his Indonesian village and trains them in the art of woodworking.
